There are plant walks and there are PLANT WALKS…
Our micro climate is home to some endangered species that remain abundant in our woods: Black Cohosh, Slippery Elm, Blood Root (in season) and more can be found in the forest lands undisturbed for more than a century.
Led by Nancy Herold RN, BSN nurse and herbalist, she shares applications for many of the plants on the property That are known to be medicinal. She provides information on traditional applications as well as what modern research is revealing and validating with recent studies.
*We will try to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. A two week notice is preferred. Reservations for walks can be scheduled beginning 4/1/24
